As an Atlanta boudoir photographer, I understand that every woman has unique curves and body types. And when it comes to lingerie, the right fit can make all the difference. Here are some tips for choosing lingerie for different body types.

For Hourglass Body Types

If you have an hourglass body type, you will likely have the easiest time finding suitable lingerie that compliments your curves. Lucky you! You can choose from push-up bras, corsets, two-pieces, babydolls, and even high-waisted briefs. The key here is to enhance your curves and highlight the aspects of your body that you love!

For Pear-Shaped Body Types

If you have a pear-shaped body type, you have a smaller upper body and wider hips and thighs. In this case, you can go for lingerie sets that highlight your upper body. You can wear a push-up bra and pair it with high-waisted briefs. A babydoll that flares at the hips can also make your body look more proportional.

For Apple-Shaped Body Types

If you have an apple-shaped body type, you have a wider upper body and narrower hips. The goal is to balance out your upper and lower halves.
