What should I do with my boudoir photos?
Ok, so you finally got the gumption to do the boudoir session.. but what do you do with the photos? What ways can you have, display and gift your images?
There’s a few questions to start with, but I want you to keep an open mind as we go: 1) Do you want something on your wall as a daily reminder of what a bombshell you are? Do you enjoy the tradition of opening a gorgeous heirloom album containing all of your images? Are you super private or bold and liberal with body positivity?
We’ll start there.
Traditional Options
Heirloom Album
I would say somewhere between 80-90% of my clients opt for a gorgeous leatherbound album to have or gift their boudoir photos. Not only is this a timeless way to treasure your photos for years to come, but they include the digital copies as an added bonus!
At our studio, we have options for album sizes raging from 5x5” up to 14x14” and album covers including: metallic leather, distressed leather, Italian textured leather, vegan leather, plush velvets, various linens as well as acrylic and metal options! Hands down, this is the most popular option.
Canvas Art
Canvas prints of your boudoir photos are a great way to wake up every day being able to look up and say, “damn, I’m gorgeous.” The funny thing is that a lot of people say things like, “no way I’d be comfortable putting myself on the wall” or “I have kids, so I can’t hang something like that up,” but somehow this is still our second most popular option.
No pressure from us if you truly don’t want art on your walls, but I’ll tell you ahead of time that not only is it highly likely you’ll find a few shots you’d love to see every day, but we’ll be taking such a variety of photographs that you’ll have ample to choose from that are anonymous, close-ups that hide identity and even options that are tame enough that someone looking wouldn’t even know it was from a boudoir photoshoot, so this is where I say keep an open mind! Oh and go ahead and measure/photograph the walls you think you might hang up some of your art. I’ll be ready to help you choose the best compositions for your space from there!
Metal Prints
Metal prints of your boudoir photos are actually pretty versatile! Like the picture above, you are able to get a smaller, more discreet bedside metal that ranges from 4x4” to 8x10” with an easle option or go for a wall-mounted option with sizes ranging from 4x4” to 40x60”!
What I like about boudoir photos printed on metal is the vibrant, modern shine they have naturally.
Digitals
Trust me, I know how important having digital images is these days, so these come with every single purchase of a boudoir album as well as an option in itself!
Our galleries, which are delivered after your session purchase is complete, are delivered in a digital gallery with options to download in full resolution and/or web resolution so you have the quality needed for printing as well as options that are optimized for dirty texting.. cough I mean, web resolution!
modern Options
Playing Cards
Strip poker anyone?
This is flirty, unexpected and interactive option clients add on to their boudoir art investment. What they like the most is that not only are they getting 52 prints of their favorite portraits, but they get to use and interact with them often with their partner!
Personal Peep Show
Anyone remember to super cool vintage viewfinders? Now you can enjoy the adult version with 7 of your spiciest images!
Hide these from the kiddos because they look just like the 1940s toy, haha!
Combo Options
Heirloom Art Collections
Most people opt to go with what we call Heirloom Art Collections for their boudoir photos. Put simply, this is a combination of a gorgeous album, digital images and potential for wall art or album upgrades.
